Six-Arm Leaf Chandelier

Organic leaf motifs run along each of this chandelier's six arms, softening the metalwork with a more botanical feel than the classic scrollwork pieces nearby. The pale silver finish keeps it light, so it works equally well in traditional and contemporary rooms, and it is one of the easier pieces in the collection to place.

Leaves along the arm, not added on

The leaves here are forged as part of each arm rather than fixed on afterwards. The iron is flattened and veined at the points where a leaf sits, then curled back, so the arm and the foliage are one continuous piece. It is slower than tacking on cast leaves, and it is the reason the arms still read as branches when the chandelier is lit from within. The pale silver finish is hand-applied and worked back at the leaf edges.

Where this chandelier works best

• Dining rooms. Six arms suit a table for six to eight.
• Bedrooms. The pale finish and soft form work where a dark iron piece would feel heavy.
• Living rooms in both traditional and contemporary interiors.
• Guest rooms and suites. Matched sets are manufactured to order.
