Florentia Wall Light

A single-light wall sconce in soft patina green, with a cluster of dusty rose flowers gathered at the centre of a slim vertical backplate. The colour is what distinguishes it: this is not an antique metal finish but a hand-painted palette of green and rose, closer to a piece of decorative furniture than to ironwork.

Five colours, all applied by hand

The finish on this sconce is built from a deliberate palette rather than a single patina. Patina green covers the main metal body, olive green picks out the leaves and stems, dusty rose colours the flowers, candle beige finishes the sleeve, and antique bronze is worked into the edges and details. Each colour is applied and blended by hand, which is why the tones shift slightly between pieces and why the flowers read as soft rather than flat.

Choosing the wall colour

Green and dusty rose sit best against warm neutrals: cream, sand, oatmeal or pale plaster. Against cool white the green can look grey, and against a strong colour the roses lose their softness. If your wall is dark or strongly coloured, tell us and we will suggest a palette that holds up against it.

Handcrafted and hand-painted in our own workshop. Because every piece is painted by hand, slight variations in colour and texture occur, and each sconce is therefore unique. Size, flower colour and palette can all be changed, and pairs are painted together so they match. Bulk and project orders are quoted factory-direct. We ship across India and worldwide.

Care

Dust with a soft dry brush. Do not use water, cleaning fluid or polish on the painted surface, as any of these will lift the hand-applied colour.
