French Wrought Iron Chandelier with Crystals

Cascading crystals hang against a hand-forged iron frame on this French-inspired chandelier, finished in antique bronze. The crystals give it far more sparkle than the plainer scrollwork pieces in this collection, while the iron keeps it from tipping into pure glass-and-chrome territory.

Iron and crystal together

Crystal on its own throws light everywhere. Iron on its own absorbs it. Putting the two together is the point of this design: the forged frame gives the piece weight and a visible structure, and the crystal drops hang from it to break the light up. Each drop is hung individually so it sits true and moves slightly in air currents, which is what makes the sparkle shift as you walk past rather than staying fixed.

Where this chandelier works best

• Dining rooms. Crystal over a polished table doubles the effect through reflection.
• Entryways and stair halls. The sparkle reads from a distance.
• Formal living rooms that want glamour without a full crystal chandelier.
• Hotel lobbies and banquet rooms. Matched sets are manufactured to order.

Materials and finish

• Material: Hand-forged wrought iron with crystal drops
• Finish: Antique bronze, hand-applied patina
• Style: French, candle-style with cascading crystals
• Usage: Indoor

Each piece is made by hand, so dimensions and light count are confirmed per order. Contact us for the exact height, diameter, chain drop and weight.

Cleaning crystal and iron together

These two materials need different care, which is worth knowing before you clean it. Wipe the crystal with a soft cloth lightly dampened with water, and dry it immediately so no marks are left. Keep moisture off the ironwork and dust it dry only. Never spray glass cleaner over the whole fixture, as it will run onto the iron and lift the patina.
