Rustic Wagon Wheel Chandelier Farmhouse Wood Chandelier Round

A single wooden ring a full metre across, carrying sixteen exposed bulbs around its circumference and suspended from the ceiling on four spokes. There is no second tier and no ornament. The wagon wheel form is one of the oldest chandelier shapes there is, and this is a clean version of it.

One ring, sixteen points of light

Putting all sixteen bulbs on a single ring rather than stacking them does two things. It spreads light evenly to the edges of a room instead of concentrating it under a central mass, and it keeps the fixture visually low, so a metre-wide chandelier only occupies 645 mm of vertical space. That combination is why this shape works over an open-plan living area or a long farmhouse table where a tall tiered piece would block sightlines.

Three chains, three drops

The fixture ships with three chain lengths rather than one, so the drop can be set on site without sourcing extra hardware: a short 11.8 inch drop for standard ceilings, 19.68 inch for a higher room, and 39.37 inch for a double-height space or a stairwell. They can also be combined.

Flat, sloped or vaulted

The canopy and suspension are designed to hang the ring level from an angled ceiling as well as a flat one. That makes this one of the few chandeliers in the collection suited to a vaulted or pitched roof, so it works in barn conversions, attic living rooms and cottages where most fixtures hang crooked.

Sixteen bulbs on one circuit

With sixteen light points, check that the circuit and switch can carry the load before installation, particularly if you are using filament bulbs rather than LED. E27 LED bulbs at 2700K to 3000K give the warm light this design was drawn for and keep the total draw low.
