Grand Scale French Wrought Iron Chandelier

Scaled for grand spaces, this hand-forged wrought iron chandelier draws on early-1900s French metalwork. Ornamental scrollwork and multiple candle arms sit above a deep openwork basket, and the hand-finished patina gives it real architectural weight. It is the kind of piece that reads as sculpture when the lights are off and as warmth when they are on.

Hand-forged in our Saharanpur workshop

Every arm on this chandelier is forged and shaped by hand, not cast from a mould. Our metalworkers heat each length of iron, draw out the scrollwork, and set the curves individually, which is why no two pieces come out identical. The finish is applied in layers and hand-rubbed back, so the depth you see in the patina is built up rather than sprayed on. Gilded acanthus leaves at the arm collars catch the light against the dark iron.

This chandelier is made to order. We regularly adjust the diameter, arm count and chain drop to suit a specific ceiling, and we can produce it in matte black, verdigris or antique silver instead of antique bronze. Care

Dust with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid chemical cleaners and polishes, as the patina is a hand-applied finish and solvents will lift it. A light wipe every few months is all this piece needs.
