Golden Palm Leaf Chandelier

Sculpted palm leaves fan out above three curving candle arms on this chandelier, finished in antique gold. At 22 inches tall and 20 inches wide it is a compact piece, and the palm form gives it a tropical, Hollywood Regency character that none of the other chandeliers in this collection have.

The palm leaf form

Each frond is cut and shaped individually, then curled and set so the leaves fall outward and downward in layers, the way a real palm does. The shaping is what makes it work: a flat leaf reads as a piece of cut metal, while a curled one catches light along its length and throws a shadow behind it. The antique gold finish is applied by hand over every leaf and curve, and rubbed back at the edges so the gold varies across the canopy rather than sitting uniform.

A note on light output

This is a three-light fixture, so it is designed for ambient light rather than as the only light source in a large room. In a dining room it works best alongside wall lights or lamps. The leaf canopy also sits above the bulbs, which directs light downward and outward rather than up at the ceiling.

Handcrafted in our own workshop. Size, light count, leaf density and finish can all be changed, with alternatives in antique bronze, matte black and pale silver. Bulk and project orders are quoted factory-direct. We ship across India and worldwide.

Care

Dust each leaf with a soft brush, working from the stem outward. The leaves are shaped metal and will bend if pressed, so support them from underneath while cleaning. Avoid chemical polish, which will dull the gold.
